Virginia Halverson

Virginia is the Director of Parent Philanthropy at Scripps College, having first served Scripps for three years as a Senior Advancement Officer. As the leader of the Parent Engagement and Philanthropy team, Virginia guides the vision of the office to enhance opportunities for Scripps families to get involved and help strengthen the College. Virginia works closely with the Co-Chairs of the Scripps Association of Families and parent volunteers on the Parent Leadership Council. Before coming to Scripps, Virginia held positions at Whittier College and Chapman University. Virginia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Smith College and a Master of Business Administration from Chapman University. 

Mary Livesay

Mary is the Events Coordinator for the Office of Parent Engagement and Philanthropy as well as the Stewardship Office at Scripps. She joined the Advancement team in the fall of 2015, bringing a range of administrative and events management experience. Most recently she worked at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri as the Box Office and Marketing Manager for the Theater Department. Earlier in her career she worked at the College of William and Mary in the Office of Undergraduate Admission. Mary received her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Michigan.

 

Casey Crosbie

Casey serves as a Senior Advancement Officer for the department of Parent Engagement and Philanthropy. Prior to joining the Scripps team Casey worked as the director of several Southern California based non-profits, most recently as the Executive Director of Family Promise of Orange County. Casey is excited to work with parents to help enrich the experience of students though philanthropy, networking and volunteer opportunities. Casey has his Bachelor's in Psychology from Concordia College, Moorhead MN; a Master's in Ethics from Claremont School of Theology; and is currently finishing his Ph.D. at Claremont Graduate University/Claremont School of Theology.
